Marina Stress Factor Levels
(Each stress factor level includes any or all of the subsequent levels)
- CRITICAL
Marina demolition in progress. Contracts and permits have been issued. Mayors have been paid campaign contributions.
- EXTREME
Eviction notices have been issued and lawsuit dates have been set in Superior Court. Tenants are locked out of the marina.
- ELEVATED
Threatening letters have been sent to tenants. Six or more new signs have been posted.
More than twenty percent of tenants have left the marina voluntarily.
- SEVERE
Tenant vehicles have been impounded and tenant property has been confiscated.
- HIGH
Tenants' rental agreements have been violated by adding new rules, procedures, or fees. Tenants must decide if it's worth
calling the lawyers or not.
- SERIOUS
Managers and employees violate county, state, and/or federal laws and stubbornly persist in doing this.
- MODERATE
Hazardous and unsafe conditions are created by lack of property maintenance.
